Education and work:

Graduated with honors from the Bachelor"s degree (1999) and the Master"s program (2001) of the Faculty of International Relations of St. Petersburg State University in the field of "European Studies".

In 2000, he passed an internship at the Committee on International Affairs of the European Parliament (Brussels, Belgium), as well as the University of Leuven (Leuven, Belgium)

In 2004 he defended his thesis on "Expansion of the European Union and Russia: Prospects for Relations in the Context of International Relations in Europe".
Candidate of Political Sciences.

Since 2001, he teaches at the Faculty of International Relations. Since 2008 occupies the post of associate professor.
